    Please HELP those INJURED Detainees at Insein Prison

    My name is Kyaw Zay , released from the above prison on 14/04/21 as my case (drug abuse ) was found not liable.
    Situation in the prison is absolutely Horrific !!
    Some injured detainees are barely alive with their open wounds being heavily infected with maggots .
    Some with gun shot wounds on the thigh / legs are still medically unattended since the arrest. One with badly injured hands was arrested since February , but the wound was wrapped with a bandage without any proper treatment.
    I heard , these young detainees
    I heard some , repeatedly beaten prisoner(s) , begging to finish them off altogether 😢😢, as they cannot bare it any more.

    Daily food we had was just a slice of bread with water .
    Myself , arrested with drug case, was also given a slice of bread ( shoveled into my cell with bare foot ) and water .. I dare not think how these protesters against the junta will be treated .

    When I heard these young detainees taking vows on ” their fellow protesters’ freedom and shall never get arrested like themselves ” , I could not help myself, but cried .

    According to a youth arrested during the raid of South Okkalarpa , some of his fellow protesters of Myanmar Spring Revolution , arrested since February were beaten to death , as he saw the bodies being taken away daily .
    If No ONE , including the International communities did not intervene/ help these prisoners , they all might have to face the same destiny as their comrades . PLEASE , Do something to help these youngsters !!
